Nathan Carson, drummer of the Portland-based band Witch Mountain, has been making some serious in-roads in the world of horror fiction of late, with stories appearing in anthologies such as the upcoming Eternal Frankenstein anthology (from Word Horde). On November 15, his first full-length novel, Starr Creek, will debut from Lazy Fascist Press (with cover art by David Coyne and design by Matthew Revert).
Starr Creek is “set in 1986 rural Oregon” and “features Heavy Metal teens, Christian biker gangs, and hopped-up kids on 3-wheeled ATVs. They all collide when strange occurrences unveil an alien world inhabiting the Oregon woods.”
If you’re dying to get your hands on Carson’s book early, he will be selling 100 Limited Numbered Editions of the book on the current Witch Mountain tour, which kicked off yesterday in Portland, Oregon and continues today in Boise, Idaho.
