Jack Ketchum’s OFF SEASON gets 35th Anniversary Edition

offseasonOn October 18, Dark Regions Press will be opening up pre-orders for its 35th Anniversary Edition of Jack Ketchum’s 1980 debut novel Off Season (with delivery in early 2017). It’s a book, the official press release reminds us, that “became so controversial that the original publisher withdrew their support of the novel.”

The 35th anniversary edition of Off Season will include:

  • the author’s originally intended version of the novel (uncensored)
  • a new short story based in the Off Season universe
  • a new afterword from the author
  • the novella Winter Child
  • five full-page interior illustrations by Tomislav Tikulin and stunning full-color wraparound dust jacket artwork (pictured left) by David Stoupakis

Dark Regions Press is releasing Off Season in two formats: a signed and numbered slipcased hardcover and a deluxe lettered traycased hardcover.

Be sure to scribble October 18 on your calendar if you don’t want to miss out.
