Fans of Neil Gaiman’s American Gods are set to get a bounty of adaptations in 2017. Joining the television series, which is being adapted by Bryan Fuller (Hannibal) and will be premiere on the Staz network next spring, is another retelling of the story, this time in comic book form. Netflix debuts trailer for A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS

Here at the Library we like strange and horrific stories for all ages, which is why we were so keen to get a peek at the trailer for Netflix’s upcoming eight-episode adaptation of Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events, which lands on the app on January 13, 2017. The Sadist’s Bible, Nicole Cushing’s follow-up to her Bram Stoker Award-winning first novel Mr. Suicide, is seeking an illustrated print edition and some generous lovers of extreme horror literature to help fund it.
